Some of our time in Merrickville was spent going to all the shops. There are a lot of artist studios to go into and of course a couple of antique places.

I’ve never been one to browse antique shops. I don’t collect anything. They usually smell funny.

This past weekend though we popped into a few just briefly. We wanted to find an old camera for Brian. He is using them to decorate his new condo.

We found an old Kodak from 1917 and just had to pick it up.

It still retracts into the case. The shutter still works. It probably can still take pictures. Imagine that!
